Neurodivergence-Focused Coaching Supervision
COURSE OVERVIEW
Neurodiversity and neurodivergence are among the most significant issues confronting the coaching profession.
Each client and coach are unique in their own neurobiological differences. This bespoke programme facilitated by David Clutterbuck and Francoise Orlov provides neurodivergence-focused supervision groups for professional coaches who themselves have neurodivergent traits. The focus will be on ADHD, autism, and high sensitivity.
David and Francoise are both EMCC Global accredited coaching supervisors and Master Practitioners. They each have more than 30 years experience working with neurodivergence in a variety of forms.
Fostering trust and psychological safety will be central to enable participants to experiment with their differences at individual and group level, to be authentic (‘’de-mask’’), and to have their assumptions challenged, and to enhance their practice.Â
ABOUT THE NEURODIVERSE-FOCUSED SUPERVISION GROUPS
- Only open to coaches with ADHD, autism, and high sensitivity (formally or informally diagnosed)
- Coaches sign up for a block of 5 x 90-minute sessions which run approximately every 6 weeks
- Between 5 to 8 coaches who have a minimum of one year’s experience, for cohesion
- All sessions are delivered by Professor David Clutterbuck and Dr Francoise Orlov via Zoom
- Sessions will not be recorded
We expect the range of themes and topics covered to be diverse. Some are already identified: cognitive ability, executive functioning, emotional management. As psychological safety is so paramount to coaching and supervision, we expect at the beginning of each group to establish group norms and protocols that ensure a supportive co-learning environment.
